Voice for Choice was founded in 2022 by Renee Menzies. Renee acquired multiple disabilties in adulthood that took almost a decade of rehabilitation to regain functional capacity.

Filled with knowledge from her own experiences and studying a Cert IV Disability, she decided to start a business based in advocacy. Renee and her team are passionate about supporting people to be heard and receive opportunities to live their best life.

“I am so proud of myself for creating this business to allow everyone an opportunity to have choice and control over how they live. I spent nearly a decade recovering from a workplace injury, and that led to me wanting to help others to connect into their communities and live a life that wasn’t centred on what they couldn’t do.”

Renee is a West Gippsland local, and lives with her teenage sons and cat Luna. She loves to bushwalk, crochet, meditate, enjoys yoga, movie nights with her sons, and great coffee. She loathes grocery shopping, clothes washing, licorice and peas.
